Visualizing Interconnected Nature

This little watercolor painting, “Inner Nest of the Violet Greens” is an example of an overarching theme in my art. Birds, branches and leaves are flowing into each other. I’ve been working on this oil painting for the past three days. It is 24″square and is a significant progression in my new moon series. The Moon Rattle is now glazed

I glaze fired the moon rattle last week. Here it is sitting on the bag I made for carrying it. I sent it off to a dear friend who is an energy healer. I made the rattle specifically for her. She wanted it to symbolize the moon and the water, so I used a variety of homeopathic waters to bathe the carving and smooth out the lines. I think I found a new technique for my carvings.
